Peter Mayer Named Agency of Record by Piccadilly Restaurants

(NEW ORLEANS, LA - January 28, 2008 ) – Peter A. Mayer Advertising, Inc. the region’s largest full-service agency, has been named the agency of record by Piccadilly Restaurants, LLC, one of the largest cafeteria chains in the nation, headquartered in Baton Rouge, La.

Peter Mayer Wins Five Tourism Marketing Awards

Silver Adrian Awards and 1 Bronze for Agency’s work on New Orleans Tourism Marketing Corporation and Louisiana Office of Tourism

New Orleans, LA (January 24, 2008) - Peter A. Mayer Advertising Inc., the state’s largest full-service agency, recently won five awards for their work on Louisiana Office of Tourism (LOT) and New Orleans Tourism Marketing Corporation (NOTMC) ad campaigns. The agency won four Silver Adrian Awards and one Bronze Adrian Award from Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI).

The Silver Awards were given for the 2007 Event Newspaper in print media, 2006 Celebrity Campaign in positioning, and 2006 Celebrity TV in the television category for the work done for LOT and NOTMC. The Bronze Award was given in the print media category, specifically for magazine ads for the Celebrity Print campaigns of both LOT and NOTMC. Peter A. Peter Mayer Announces New Staff Members

New Orleans, LA (January 23, 2008) – Peter A. Mayer Advertising Inc. today announced promotions and new members of its staff, according to

Mark A. Mayer, agency president.

George Morse – Interactive Designer

George Morse joins Peter A. Mayer as an interactive designer. Prior to joining Peter A. Mayer, George worked in New York City as a web designer for Morgan Stanley and as a freelance web designer for Berlin Cameron United. He graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a bachelor’s degree in Fine Art with a graphic design concentration.

 

Ryan McKinnon – Assistant Print Production Manager

Ryan McKinnon joins Peter A. Mayer as an assistant production manager in the Print/Production Department. He graduated from the University of Alabama in May 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and a minor in American Studies. Shortly after graduation, Ryan began interning at Peter A. Mayer, working on the Road Home account, and is now a full-time employee. He was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana and is a graduate of Archbishop Rummel High School.

Curry W. Smith – Traffic Coordinator

Curry W. Smith joins Peter A. Mayer as a traffic coordinator. Originally from Lafayette, Curry earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Economy from the Murphy Institute at Tulane University. Prior to joining Peter A. Mayer, he worked as a business development intern at the World Trade Center of New Orleans.
