Peter Mayer Selected As Okaloosa County Tourism Development Department’s Agency of Record

Okaloosa County Florida, through the Tourism Development Department (TDD), has selected Peter Mayer Advertising to promote Okaloosa County as a world-class travel destination. Peter Mayer was approved by the Okaloosa County Board of County Commissioners and began working with the TDD last month. Okaloosa County is in Florida’s panhandle region and includes the communities of Destin, Fort Walton and Okaloosa Island.

“We are excited to bring our destination marketing expertise to Okaloosa County,” said Mark Mayer, president of Peter Mayer. “Working with the TDD, we hope to showcase the exceptional cultural assets and visitor attractions that make Okaloosa County a world-class destination.”

Peter Mayer has considerable experience in promoting travel destinations, having represented the Louisiana Office of Tourism and New Orleans Tourism Marketing Corporation for more than 10 years each. Peter Mayer has deep experience in tourism, having represented Sonesta Hotels, Delta Queen Steamboat Company and the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, among others.
