The Sr. Project Manager’s primary responsibility is to own and manage an assigned brand from strategic development to concept creation to final delivery with regards to timing, quality and budget. This position requires meticulous record keeping, creative and flexible problem solving, digital production knowledge, exemplary written and verbal communication skills and the ability to provide direction and vision throughout a project lifecycle. The Sr. Project Manager is also responsible for acting as a consultant/advisor/manager to the Project Managers.
We’ll need you to:
- Have the ability to manage and lead a team of 1-2 Project Managers – including training, mentorship and ongoing career development
- Have the ability to develop project requirement/project plans and scope of work from inception (strategy/brief) through execution – particularly on large-scale campaign efforts on both traditional and digital projects
- Own aspects of assigned projects, including:
- Being responsible for ensuring all deadlines are met, project budget is monitored, and stakeholders are informed of status at all stages
- Be responsible for internal meeting documentation and following up with team
- Solve project or client challenges in tight collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Collaborate on functional spec documents with appropriate internal resources
- Partner with the Director of Project Management on leading new business efforts – including developing pricing proposals for new client prospects
- Partner with the Director of Project Management on internal agency process and operations optimization
We are seeking:
- A candidate with approximately 5-7 years work experience in an agency Project Management environment
- A candidate with the following general competencies:
