Summer Intern - Brand Strategy

We’re looking for a passionate and curious intern to join our brand planning team.

This isn’t just any ole internship position. You’ll get an opportunity to get your hands dirty with some real work – fun, creative work at that.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting trend and insight content for PETERMAYER intellectual property and new business.
  • Learn to monitor the cultural, behavioral and business trends that shape the world we live in and keep PETERMAYER coworkers informed of these trends.
  • Assist brand planning team to deliver brand insights, competitive analysis and other discovery research.
  • Help develop and share content in the form of presentations and additional research.
  • Complete other tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience and/or coursework in related field (advertising, sociology, anthropology or marketing).
  • Must be a rising college senior or graduate considering a career in the strategy side of marketing and advertising.
  • Culturally curious and great at researching trends.
  • Expansive thinking and excellent writing skills.
  • Adept at PowerPoint.
  • Collaborative work style and comfortable in a busy, deadline-driven environment.

Internships at PETERMAYER begin May 22 and run for 12 weeks, through August 11. Commitment to this time frame should be considered prior to application. Our interns are paid $7.50/hour and will need to be able to commit up to 30 hours/week.
